Ross 

Ross Higgins - Principal
Ross is a Personal Injury Law Accredited Specialist, a Motor Traffic Accident Specialist and a Litigation Specialist.
He commenced work at Higgins & Higgins as a clerk in 1969 and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1974. Ross has over 30 years experience.....his extensive experience is your security and protection. He is a Local & District Court Arbitrator and a Public Notary, and specialises in Insurance and Compensation Claims as well as Contesting Estates. Ross is Actively involved in Rubgy Union refereeing at the highest level, his willingness to make the tough decisions is of benefit to his clients. In 2008 Ross was inducted into the Lithgow Sporting Hall of Fame, legend category, acknowledging his achievements in athletics, rugby union and rugby refereeing. Ross is married to Elizabeth.

klaus Klaus Fegebank - Associate

Klaus was admitted to practice in 1975 and was previously a Sole Practitioner in Glenbrook, in the Lower Blue Mountains from 1979 to 2002. He practices in predominantly in the areas of Law dealing with Property, Commerce, Wills and Estates and is married to Judy, a registered nurse. Judy now assists Klaus in his conveyancing practice.

Natasha Natasha Emmerson - Associate

Natasha was admitted to practice in 2005 and specialised in intellectual property law predominantly in the area of trademark law. Natasha moved to Lithgow in 2009 and commenced employment at Higgins & Higgins in October 2009. Natasha assists Ross with civil litigation, personal injury and motor accident claims.

 

Chris Chris Grant - Associate

Chris was admitted to practise law in 1988 and has worked widely as a lawyer in various jurisdictions including NSW, Victoria and the United Kingdom.  He has worked in private practice, government and the community sector. He was an Accredited Criminal Law Specialist in NSW from 2003 to 2007, worked for 5 years at NSW Legal Aid  and most recently was the Principal Solicitor at the Elizabeth Evatt Community Legal Centre in Katoomba. For a brief stint he left the law and became a High School English teacher here in Lithgow. He is now back in the law and working in the areas of civil litigation and family law. He commenced with Higgins Lawyers in February 2011. Chris is currently studying a Masters in Applied Law (Family Law).

Patrick Patrick Heath - Consultant

Patrick is a Personal Injury Law Accredited Specialist, Honorary Fellow of the Australasian College of Legal Medicine and a member of both Australian Lawyers Alliance and North Metropolitan Law Society. With more than 25 years in law, Patrick gained a solid grounding in general practice, insurance law and litigation before focusing on personal injury law since the early 90s. Patrick joined Higgins Lawyers in March 2011.

Ken Lambeth  Ken Lambeth - Associate

Ken was admitted to practice as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2004 and has more than 10 years experience working exclusively in criminal law. Having commenced his legal career at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in Sydney, Ken took the opportunity to escape the big smoke to take up a position at the DPP's Bathurst office where he served as a prosecutor for a number of years, he then moved over to the 'defence side' - initially at the Orange office of Legal Aid and then at the Bathurst office of the Aboriginal Legal Service.

With many years experience as both a prosecutor and a defence solicitor, Ken is considered to be one of the Central West's best and highly sought after criminal law solicitors.
